Scamehorn Productions LLC produces provocative films. John Scamehorn has been involved in numerous indie films in central Oklahoma for about five years. Pax Masculina is a short film which is the first he wrote the screenplay for as well as Executive Produced. PAX is an alternate history in which a totalitarian government takes over the US in 1910. In this timeline, women do not gain tho right to vote and are expected to be subserviant. In response to this misogynistic regime, an armed opposition called the Women's Resistance Movement or WRM arises. The film action takes place in 2010 after a century of Peace and Prosperity - the Peace of Men or Pax Masculina. Courageous, beautiful resistance fighters wearing steam punked based uniforms battle government forces throughout the film.
